But, unfortunately we can't do it without people like you and your donations of time and money. So, if you ever feel like you want to be a part of our family and help some of the best animals around, check us out.

Welcome to Puppy Dog Ranch....Bienvenido !

We are the first and ONLY “NO KILL” "No Cage"Dog Rescue in Grant County, NM and we serve all communities within a 100 mile radius.  We have rescued close to 300 unwanted, neglected, abused and special needs dogs since 2009!We are a registered 501(c)(3)nonprofit public charity and a recognized United Way charity.  Our dogs DO NOT LIVE IN CAGES.  Since we began in 2009, we continue to maintain our 99% adoption success rate by carefully matching the dog's personality and energy level to the adopter's lifestyle.   Some dogs live with us for weeks, for months, and for years, until we achieve our mission.  Other dogs, especially our "special needs doggies" live in our Sanctuary with us their entire lives.

YOUR DONATIONS TO PDR ARE 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE! We are funded solely by your donations, money handed to us from strangers on the street and the nickels and dimes we find in our dusty pockets at the end of each long, fur-filled day.  We are run by a very, very small ‘pack’ of die-hard, strong-hearted, dedicated, volunteers and one head-strong, dedicated, East Coast Italian woman!

We know you've always wanted a dog.  And now's the time friends! We are here to help you get ready for your new family member, and as soon as you're ready to take the big plunge. Owning an animal is, after all, one of the most gratifying things you can do.

It's hard knowing what to do when you're about to adopt. But, we make this process even easier when you adopt with us, because we have trained staff that will go over every possible question or concern you and your family might have on introducing your newest pal to the family.

We are open by Appointment
Tuesday - Friday, 10 am to 5 pm

As this is our home, please call first before coming out.  If you'd like to volunteer, please call us first.  If you'd like to check out our adoptable dogs, please click on 'Adopt' above.

The cost to continue renovating our personal property, purchase and build fencing, build dog housing, buy kennels (at a cost of $300 each), add kennel covers for shade and wind brakes, feed 30+ doggies a month ($600), spay and neuter every single dog, medicin, vet caree and supplies on hand, pay vet bills, and in Doodle's case, have 2 wheelchairs made for him, etc. etc. All the while we are begging for much-needed volunteers to help out at our 7+acre refuge to give our rescued dogs the best care, love, safety, and the chance of being adopted to committed "furever" homes this time around.  Our dogs do not live in cages and live together in packs, are socialized with other dogs, with children, are current on shots, licensing and are leash trained. Since 2009, we continue to maintain our 99% adoption success rate by carefully matching the dog's personality and energy level to the potential adopter's lifestyle.
